Every year, Aloha United Way partners with over 350 Donor Choice nonprofit agencies — creating an expansive network of local organizations who are dedicated to supporting and uplifting the people of Hawai‛i. Honolulu Habitat for Humanity is a long-standing partner specializing in one of the greatest needs of our community — improving access to affordable homeownership.
Recently, we met with new CEO TJ Joseph, who was named to the role in October 2022. Poignantly placed in front of a future Habitat build site, TJ shares how her unique perspective as a Native Hawaiian woman and Habitat homeowner will influence her leadership and vision for the organization in the years to come.
