Aloha United Way has been serving Hawaiʻi for more than 100 years to amplify the impact of services and programs that make our community stronger, more resilient, and equitable.  Aloha United Way is an advocate, connector, partner, and resource for our local community. From the ALICE Initiative to the 211 Statewide Resource Helpline, our network plays an integral role in our state, connecting people, resources, and solutions.

We work with 1,400+ companies and 300+ nonprofit partner agencies, working across sectors to initiate and sustain positive change.  In our daily work we reach every sector of the community and create bridges for cooperation and communication that would not exist otherwise.  Aloha United Way provides critical data and analysis for policymakers, nonprofit organizations, and the greater community to respond to need quickly and more efficiently.  By understanding our community's greatest needs and opportunities, we can respond collectively and with greater impact. AUW's annual grant programs make resources available to social service agencies with precision and our systems provide much-needed support in fundraising, marketing, and volunteerism.

Aloha United Way is a natural convener. We connect key stakeholders to advance the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community.
