Becoming a partner agency has never been easier or more rewarding. Our 2023 application is new and more user-friendly. Nonprofit organizations of all sizes and compositions are welcome and encouraged to apply. Everything you need to get started is provided below. Questions? Eligibility requirements

  • Current 501(c)(3) status with the IRS
  • Provide services to populations on O‛ahu 
  • Provide most current 990 and financial statement
  • Must earn a minimum of $25,000 in revenue
  • Compliant with the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs  
  • Compliant with the Attorney General’s Office (Exempt agencies still have to be registered with AG)
Exciting updates for 2023 applicants: Agencies with less than three years of 990 operating capital are now eligible to apply. There is no longer an audit requirement for agencies with more than $500,000 in revenue. This eligibility expansion creates greater opportunity for potential partners.

  • Application Opens: September 15, 2022, at 9 a.m. HST
  • Application Deadline: October 14, 2022 at 4 p.m. HST
  • Official Partner Announcement: January 2023

Information sessions

Recently, Aloha United Way Community Impact team hosted live information sessions for renewing and new/former partner agencies. Renewing means you are a current 2022 nonprofit partner. New means you have never been a nonprofit partner before. Former means you have been a nonprofit partner in the past; however, you were not a partner in 2022.

Application procedure

Complete the 2023 Donor Choice Application in our online platform, e-CImpact. Returning agencies can use their existing username and login. New agencies will need to create an account.
