Aloha United Way Women United is now accepting applications for its 2027 grant cycle. Eligible nonprofit organizations may apply through the AUW Salesforce Grants Portal from August 1 through August 31, 2026.
Women United is a community of women committed to improving the lives of women and female-led households across Oʻahu. Through collective giving and community partnerships, Women United invests in programs that help women access economic opportunity, stability, and the resources they need to thrive.
Funding Available
A total of $150,000 is available for this funding cycle and will be distributed across multiple awards. Grants are one-year awards ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.
Funding Priorities
Women United funds programs in three priority areas:
Economic Mobility for Women
Programs that help women experiencing crisis return to stability. Services may include medical care, mental health services, substance use treatment, family violence services, and community disaster response.
Food Security for Female-Led Households
Programs such as food pantries, food banks, food delivery services, and served-meal programs that support female-led households. Eligible expenses may include food, food vouchers, transportation, and supplies used to prepare and serve meals.
Education or Childcare Support for Female-Led Households
Programs that assist women seeking to complete or advance their education. Examples include professional development, certifications, higher education expenses, and childcare assistance.
Applicants may apply under more than one priority area if their program meaningfully spans multiple categories. Reviewers will assess how clearly the proposed activities connect to each selected area.
