Aloha United Way is pleased to share the 2023 Holiday Wish List featuring the needs of our participating United Way partner agencies on O’ahu, Hawai’i Island, Kaua’i, and Maui. These partner agencies help thousands in the community. They ask for your generous donation of gifts and time to ensure those they serve have a happy holiday season.
Each organization has at least one donation need or volunteer opportunity.
Program Need: Directly supports partner agency programs with items such as toys, food, clothing, and gift cards.
Agency Need: Directly supports daily operations with items such as paper, toner, postage stamps, and office furniture.
Volunteer Opportunities: Includes staffing for a special event or general assistance with everyday needs.
Agencies listed in this booklet are requesting items and/or volunteers for the holiday season but often have year-round needs. Help support their efforts by volunteering, donating much-needed items, or making a monetary donation. Your gift will make a difference in our community during the holidays and beyond.

Giving Tips
~ Contact the organization directly before you begin a drive or a volunteer project on their behalf.
~ Team up with your friends, family, or coworkers to collect donation items. Together you can make a bigger impact.
- Start a collection to purchase needed gift cards/certificates.
- Adopt an agency in lieu of holding that white elephant party or holding a generic gift exchange.
~ Remember your donation items should be new (unless otherwise stated) and food items should have long expiration dates.
~ Keep in mind that agencies are often overwhelmed during the holiday season so please be patient and respect their wishes.
~ Let the agencies know you found their needs in Aloha United Way’s 2023 Holiday Wish List.
