As part of their annual holiday tradition, Mariposa at Neiman Marcus opened up their doors, rolled out the red carpet and invited a nonprofit organization to celebrate Breakfast with Santa.
This year’s beneficiaries are Aloha United Way in partnership with Kids Hurt Too. Children from Kids Hurt Too have either lost their parents due to death, incarceration, divorce, foster care, domestic violence and/or divorce.
At the event, Kids Hurt Too clients and family members were welcomed to a complimentary breakfast complete with entertainment from Diamond Head Theatre “Shooting Stars” and a visit from Santa Claus.
As part of the celebration, Neiman Marcus employees also fulfilled holiday wishes for 59 children from Kids Hurt Too. Holiday gift requests include Star Wars toys, headphones to Barbie dolls.
Mariposa at Neiman Marcus restaurant manager, Duane Kawamoto says, “Year after year the employees of Neiman Marcus continue to amaze me with their generosity in purchasing gifts for selected recipients. Hosting our Breakfast with Santa for over 10 years is the highlight of our holiday season, and we look forward to creating a memorable and special experience for our island keiki.”
