
The Hawai`i Council on Economic Education (HCEE), organized in 1965, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the economic literacy of Hawaii's students and residents. HCEE implements its mission primarily by promoting and improving the teaching of economic concepts in Hawaii's public and private schools through conducting teacher training programs, providing grade level K–12 appropriate teaching materials, and offering programs in which students can participate in order to increase their knowledge of economic & financial literacy.
