2 Maui residents win vaccine campaign grand prizes

Two Maui residents each won a round-trip ticket on Southwest Airlines as part of the statewide COVID-19 vaccination incentive campaign.
Alberta Kinores of Makawao and Tiffany Ann Damo of Kahului were among 15 grand prize winners announced Friday, alongside 10 people from Oahu, one from Hawaii island, one from Kauai and another Hawaii resident with an unlisted hometown.
Prizes included round-trip tickets on Southwest and Alaska airlines, $1,000 in catering from L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, Papa John’s Pizza for a year and a Thomas Dier hand-painted giclee print.
The names of the remaining 25 people selected for grand prizes will be announced as winners are verified.
Hawaii residents 18 and older who received at least one vaccination shot by Aug. 30 can enter to win Round 2 prizes at HIGotVaccinted.com.
Individuals who registered in June will be automatically entered to win in July.
Those without internet access can also enter to win by calling the Aloha United Way 211 hotline or by sending a self-addressed and stamped postcard or letter to: HIGOTVACCINTED Rewards c/o H&B Marketing, 1164 Bishop St., Suite 1201, Honolulu, HI 96813. USPS mail entries must be received no later than Aug. 28 to be added to the online entries received and merged for the contest drawing on Sept. 1.
