Description

The American Cancer Society Hawai‘i Pacific, Inc. works to saves lives from cancer by helping people in Hawai`i stay well by preventing cancer or detecting it early; helping Hawai`i's people get well by being there for them during and after a cancer diagnosis; by finding cures through investment in groundbreaking cancer research; and, by fighting back by rallying lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer and by rallying communities worldwide to join the fight. Last year, 45 percent of people in Hawai`i and Guam who were diagnosed with cancer received services from the American Cancer Society Hawai`i Pacific. That represented 3,498 unique patients receiving 13,167 services.
