Aloha United Way is a community leader in addressing Oahu's most challenging issues.  We gather resources and harness the collective energy of all sectors of our community to prepare children for kindergarte; help families make ends meet; reduce crime and drug use; prevent homelessness; and provide for the most need in our community.

Working together, we can improve the quality of life in Hawaii by LIVING UNITED.

Specifically, we have:

• Assessed the community and identified the most serious, persistent problems which include early childhood development, homelessness, financial stability and independence, crime and drug use, and emergency and crisis services.
• Conducted our annual fundraising campaign to mobilize people and resources as well as raise awareness in these pressing issue areas.
• Developed comprehensive strategies to change community conditions and improve lives.
• Implemented impact strategies with community partners
