Gifts-In-Kind is an on-line "gift-matching" service connecting people with organizations needing specific items.

Donors: Search for an agency looking for your donation.

Nonprofits: Post the items you need.

If you’re claiming a tax deduction:

• You can deduct your contributions only if you make them to a qualified organization.
• Volunteers can only claim certain out-of-pocket expenses.
• Deductions for property or goods would be the fair market value of the property at the time it is donated.
