Aloha United Way Completes 2008 United Way Membership Certification

Aloha United Way Earns Award of Excellence

Aloha United Way was awarded the Neolo Po'Okela (To Seek After Excellence) level of the Hawaii Award of Excellence. This honor is part of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards.

Congress established the award to promote performance excellence, recognize U.S. business achievements and publicize successful strategies. AUW was evaluated based on management practices, customer and market focus and business results. The award, the first for AUW was awarded in 2005, represents a standard of outstanding business achievement in Hawaii.
