Aloha United Way is pleased to work with small businesses to make our communities safer, healthier and stronger.

Created specifically for organizations with 100 or fewer employees, Small Business Big Heart recognizes the generosity of small businesses and helps connect their employees to important community services.

Aloha United Way staff and volunteers help small businesses run efficient employee campaigns, every step of the way. In addition to making Oahu a better place, employee campaigns improve employee morale and encourage team-building. 

A $150,000 Challenge Matching Grant has been awarded to Aloha United Way. It is a $1 for $1 challenge to companies that meet the following criteria:

• 100 employees or less
• New or increased corporate gifts
• New employee campaigns

What is matched:

• Total employee dollars raised per company
• New corporate gifts
• Increased corporate gifts (matches amount of increase only)

*Recognition based on size of organization:

• $2,500 minimum total giving for organizations with 50 or less employees
• $5,000 minimum total giving for organizations with 51 – 100 employees
